Jeff turned 31 this year and although we did celebrate, there was no keg, pig roast, or lingering hangovers like last year. Fortunately, there was a mini celebration, cake, and candles! Aunt Kelly was in town to meet Ella, so she was able to celebrate with us too.
The day before Jeff's actualy birthday all the family got together for dinner at our favorite local pizza place, Eno's.

When we began to sing Jeff Happy Birthday, Matthew, who had just had his party thought, it was for him. It was so cute! When we said Jeff instead of Matthew, he took it like a champ. Sweet kid!
The next day was Jeff's actual birthday and Kelly and I decided to bake him his favorite dessert: yellow cake with chocolate icing.
